Puppy 3.01 rt2500 on Averatec 3250 works!

#1 Post by boscobearbank »

Subject line says it all. Now for a (silly?) question. When I use the network wizard and select ra0, I get the message telling me that I first need to click on the Wireless button to tell Puppy that this is a wireless connection. However, I did not do so this time (I forgot), and it still seems to be working just fine. Dumb luck, new and improved networking script, or ??

I found that wireless worked without the button clicked on since 2.00.

Most linux distros can use the card without the antenna clicked on.

But since the 4.00 puppy it needs to be clicked on.
