Why does petget offer two CUPS versions?

Pupget package manager offers:

cups-1.1.23-1 this one works

and:

cups-1.2.11 .................................

Does the second one not work? If so, what's it there for?

Anyway, which one to download? Or is there a better one?

Puppy already has CUPS installed, at least recent versions of Puppy.
