rt2500 speed problem

I am using puppy 4.1 on a laptop with a rt500 chip. Everything is working OK, but the connexion speed is 1M only. It is a known bug, and the workaround is obvious : open a terminal and emit :

iwconfig wlan0 rate 54M (or whatever the name of your interface)

I am somewhat bored to do this at every start. I know I could write a script to manually configure the wifi, but I prefer to use the wifi wizard because I sometimes I use an external wifi adapter.

Where can i put this command line so it can be run when I use the internal wifi card ?
