Thumbnail-Icons (wxB-iconsystem03)

#1 Post by MU »

Usually, you click on the "minimize"-Button in the titlebar of a window, to iconify it.

Then it can be maximized by clicking in the Task-Bar.

With wxB-Iconsystem, it is different.

You click on this Button:

Now your Cursor becomes a Target-Cross, and when you click on a window, it will be minimized to a small "snapshot" of itself.

This picture shows some of these "thumbnails".
If you click on a thumbnail, the window is restored.

You will need 3 DotPups.

and the following 2 pups:

Ok, I'll check it out this evening, got to leave now for some hours.

A first idea:
Try it with "icewm".

Maybe jwm or fvwm95 do not support everything needed.

Ok Lobster, it was Fvwm95.

It is quite old, and does not support all functions I need.

I uploaded a new version, where Fvwm runs it in a simpler mode.
It does not automatically update the Thumbnails, when you maximize an Icon via the Taskbar.

I suggest to use JWM or Icewm with it, then it runs correct :)
