does ump really stand for "unnamed math program"? only the developer would know for sure:

http://u-m-p.sourceforge.net/

this calculator/graphing program has a lot of functionality for puppy maths srtudents. to run type ump, or click on /usr/bin/ump.

(N.B. i've compiled it to use openGL library files, so you'll probably also need to install http://dotpups.de/dotpups/XServer/DRI/OpenGL.pup )
