Subject description: Hardware sensors package for Puppy 2.xx (& maybe 3.xx)..

This is 2 x PET's for the 'lm-sensors' Hardware monitoring package - now available for Puppy v2.xx ( and maybe 3.xx as well )..

Prepared from the Debian packages ( kernel v2.6.15.1 & up ) - so should hopefully run in most Puppy versions from 2.10 & up..

Have split the package into 2 x PETs :

lm_sensors-2.10.4.pet # main package files - 4.2MB size.
lm_sensors_docs.pet # all docs & man files - 1.75MB size.

Download:

http://dotpups.de/dotpups/System_Utilities/lm_sensors-2.10.4.pet
http://dotpups.de/dotpups/System_Utilities/lm_sensors_docs.pet

Please refer to the following link for 'installation' & 'usage' info :

If you have any problems or questions on this package - please post to the Puppy forums for assistance..

Subject description: my X is broken after removal?

I tried the installation in 3.01.
Things seemed to work for the installation, but that I had no available devices to use. Attempting removal and shutting down has left me unable to start the X environment.

I've just posted the problem, perhaps it is a warning for those with 3.01 to not do what I carelessly did...

<edit>
I now think that lmsensors was not the cause in any way of my problems. From my perspective it worked fine on 3.01.
