Running 25 (ish?) streaming videos in seamonkey tabs....
and checking e-mail in 3 seperate tabs...
and downloading 3-5 vid clips at a time...
and downloading a few things from puupy software installer...
and running 3 tabs of this forum
on a fujitsu c-series w/ a 700MHz processor (Puppy 2.1.7)
Stable!!
Ram use remained below 90%
CPU use seemed strained a bit, biut did not freeze like Win2k
only issue is when changing wokspaces (a short {count to 5?} pause to accomplish)
any other tests?
Stability test of Puppy 2.1.7 on a Fujitsu C-series: pass

I'm not sure if that's Puppy's or Seamonkey's fault.PaulBx1 wrote:Try getting a youtube download going, then cancel, then restart, then cancel, etc. I have noticed Seamonkey freezing when this happens, in 2.16.1.
A (Debian using) friend told me just yesterday about Youtube causing Firefox (well, Iceweasel...) to freeze, if he clicks on a link to another video after watching one.
So there might be a problem with Youtube and Mozilla in general.

One of the instabilities I used to have with certain versions of the MPlayer-plugin was that if you closed it while it wasn't finished it would crash Firefox. My small experiences with other plugins makes it seem like that particular plugin was less stable than most, but that it's a common problem. I've had similar experiences with Flash and Java, for example. Plugins don't seem to like being closed when they're in the middle of loading or playing something.
So I'd say that it's probably a browser and plugin issue.
