WARNING: createContext: window creation failure. SDL: Couldn't find matching GLX visual

Was für Grafiktreiber benutzt Du?
Welche Grafikkarte?

GLX ist hardwarebeschleunigtes OpenGL, dafür benötigst Du DRI Grafiktreiber.

Graphikkarte

#3 Post by Isch »

Ups

Das ging ja schnell.

Driver "i810" #card0driver
VendorName "Intel Corporation"
BoardName "Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller"

Puppy 2.6

#4 Post by Isch »

Hallo erst mal

Ich hab da mal was installiert, was aber schon installiert war:

Das habe ich hinter dem Link http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=14463 gefunden:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I presume you mean Puppy 1.04-1.09 with kernel 2.4.29?
Mark does host 3D drivers for that series, but it's a question of finding the right versions ... because Puppy's version of Xorg has changed from 6.8.1 to 7.0 since then, and the kernel has changed 3 times.
I think your DRM/DRI files are here http://dotpups.de/dotpups/XServer/DRI/
You will need -

DRM-Kernelmodules-2.4.pup
dri-i810.pup
OpenGL.pup

2.4 kernels work differently to 2.6 kernels. The only kernel modules you need are agpgart and i810, there is no drm module.

I am using the i810 3D driver under Puppy 2.13 and it works great. I can play TuxRacer on a modest Pentium3-733.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DRM-Kernelmodules-2.4.pup brauche ich doch nur wenn ich einen kernel 2.4 benutze, richtig?

dri-i810.pup:

/usr/X11R6/lib/810XvMC.so.1 existiert

OpenGL.pup:

/usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1 existiert
/usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2 existiert
/usr/X11R6/lib/libGLU.so.1 existiert
/usr/X11R6/lib/libGLw.so.1 existiert
/usr/X11R6/lib/libGLw.so.1.0.0 existiert
/usr/X11R6/lib/libdrm.so.2 existiert
/usr/X11R6/lib/libdrm.so.2.0.0 existiert
/usr/X11R6/lib/libglut.so.3 existiert

und

2007-07-22T02:40:05Z INFO: createContext: creating window 800x600x32
2007-07-22T02:40:05Z WARNING: createContext: window creation failure. SDL: Couldn't find matching GLX visual

Hat also nichts geholfen?????????????

Muß ich puppy auf der Festplatte installieren?

Wäre schön wenn ich eine Antwort bekäme. :?

häng mal bitte diese 2 Dateien gezippt an:

/var/log/Xorg0.log
/etc/X11/xorg.conf

http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=14558

Muppy

#6 Post by Isch »

Hallo,

Xorg

#8 Post by Isch »

Ja sorry sorry sorry,

ich schmeiß da ja ne menge durcheinander.

Ich muß meine Graphikkarte mit Xorg configurieren:

Depth 24
Modes "1024x768"

(II) I810(0): [drm] installed DRM signal handler
(II) I810(0): [DRI] installation complete
(II) I810(0): direct rendering: Enabled

Dann X neustarten.

Sorry,

Second Life setzt depth=24 voraus siehe oben.

Was ich hier versuche ist:

1. Second Life unter Linux zu benutzen. ok klappt
