Hello bobwrit,
How did you install KDE?, If it was like me in the creation of TEENpup2.0.0 where I added selected files bit by bit and not with a Package Manager, then you most likely have the same problem I have.
As far as I can make out (Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong) when you install KDE with a package Manager, extra scripts must also run at the same time as each KDE package is installed linking all those packages together.
In the creation of TEENpup2.0.0 I had to manually link alot of Lib's and other packages to get the selected KDE Apps working.
You won't find KDE's control panel in TEENpup2.0.0 as it wasn't required and in testing suffered the same fate as yours did.
