2.17 not retaining wireless

Installed latest download of puppy 2.17 on to hard drive of Thinkpad i1100. Connects successfully to the net via a linksys cardbus WPC54G.

I answered all the "connect" questions just as I had done for 2.16.

When I reboot the net connection fails, when I go into "connect" the settings for the wireless are still there and if I click the DHCP button everything corrects itself. But on reboot it disappears again.

Sorry but I have double posted this please delete the other posting in cutting edge
