2.14 is way behind me now.
But it did support loading sfs at boot.
The form is <name-of-sfs>_214.sfs.
(214 because you use it, 215 if that's what is used etc...)
So if you would use the WebP2P sfs, it should have the name for you: WebP2P_214.sfs, rename the one you download to this and be sure it is in the directory where your pup_save file(s) are.

Having java symlinked like this to harddrive:

ln -sf /initrd/mnt/dev_save/jre1.5.0_06/bin/java /usr/bin/java

this will confirm:

java -version

Because of adblockers, I usually install wine for a few little Windows programs like ClockAlign (regressed to wine 929 for display resons).
One of the programs I carry with me is the proxomitron, (startcommandscript in MU's autostarter) which is also fine for cascading proxies, with one click they are away.
Polipo sometimes don't let me do online banking, privoxy behind proxomitron is good "for the eyes".

Just to say, I installed java 1.5.08 from MU's dotpup emporium (it installed flawlessly) and eDexter worked first time.

Browsing (using the adblocking hosts file) is now much nicer.
However, I have noticed some deterioration in performance from the large hosts file.

I guess if I want this to load on startup I simply need to put

Code: Select all

java -jar eDexterJavaDog.jar &
into my rc.local?
