Firefox works and Seamonkey Disney

:) Reminds me of the Scottish joke
where Firefox works and Seamonkey Disney (does not)

http://disney.go.com/home/html/index.html

I know the Disney site is highly flash orientated (and from what I remember is one of the first featuring shockwave)

Seamonkey in 2.16 (are you using 2.15CE - there is no 2.16CE yet?) which has Flash 9 but no shockwave (Shockwave has not been released for Linux by the proprietrary owners of Flash)

I tried turning off addplus (a Flash ad blocker) and pop-up blocker in Seamonkey but to no avail. Is Seamonkey a Micky Mouse browser? Certainly not. Maybe someone else can solve this goofy behaviour

The site seems to work fine for me. (How would I know if it's not doing something it's supposed to? :) ) When I click the link, the first thing I see is a report that my computer can use all the stuff the site has to offer.

If it was working you would actually see all the cool flash stuff. Pirates of the carabian trailer etc. When I install the firefox.pup and the flash9.pup it will work through firefox. I still do get an error when I shut the browser down though.

I had no problems in 215ce either that is one of the sites I use to check it. try 216, it has flash nine installed and works on some sites but not that one. You just get a page telling you you don't need any upgrades.
I installed firefox from the mozilla site and then installed flash 9 using the installer from adobe and firefox works fine. (when i used the firefox.pup and flash.pup firefox would crash on exit and various other times)

It is basically telling you that the site works and then it does no workt. If anyone is running Seamonkey. I have a feeling that the web site designers of the site have done something clever to optimise for Firefox and IE . . . or could it be something else? I could not find a solution.

Is anyone using 1.1.1? Planning to share as a .pet? Does it work with Disney? [/quote]
