I have a problem with my sound card which is HDA intel card. Its a onboard chip of lenovo think centre A55 desktop. It produces sound at first time. but if i made any changes in the players like XMMS and GXine etc. then it won't give sound . only after rebooting the system only, i'll be getting sound.

Awaiting the Reply.

Hi all,

My sound card is giving sound immediately after the boot. But if i made any changes in the volume control, then the volume is gone out.

I have already given some posts, but still no response from any body. Whats happening in my sound card. Is there nobody to answer my question....

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Browny,

If i run alsaconf again, then its giving sound again. Again If i made any changes in the volume control, then the same will happen again that is no sound.

I have to run either alsaconf or reboot my system to hear the sound again. How can i get the sound permanently.

Thanks in advance,
Browny
