Hi everyone,

I read in the forum that sfs files could be used with pizzapup.
So I downloaded pgs_215.sfs and web_215.sfs, and copied them in the /mnt/home directory which look like this:

Code:
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root            0 May  7 08:18 /mnt/home/idehd
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root      1297996 May  7 08:18 /mnt/home/initrd.gz
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root    803708928 May  7 08:20 /mnt/home/pagefile.sys
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root     67457024 May  5 16:28 /mnt/home/pgs_215.sfs
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root     77963264 May  7 08:18 /mnt/home/pza_301.sfs
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root    536870912 May  7  2007 /mnt/home/pza_save.2fs
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root      1751229 May  7 08:18 /mnt/home/vmlinuz
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root     74133504 May  3 06:48 /mnt/home/web_215.sfs
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root         4147 Apr 29 18:25 /mnt/home/xorg.conf
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root         7199 May  1 17:11 /mnt/home/xorg_ok.conf
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root     17756160 May  7 08:18 /mnt/home/zdrv_301.sfs

Restarted, ran "fixmenus" in a term, restarted Icewm and... nothing...

Anything I did wrong ?
Is it because pgs and web files are "215" and pizzapup is based on puppy 214 ?

Thanks in advance

you might need different packages if you want them to work with pizzapup. but I think it should work if you simply rename web_215.sfs to web_301.sfs. Or you could do a symbolic link.

I do know that web_215.sfs works with Pizzapup 3.0.1 when renamed or symlinked to web_301.sfs. The same should apply with Pizzapup 3.0 if you name it web_300.sfs.

There may be some slight problems with various .sfs files due to differences in Pizzapup, but overall they should work okay.

Note: Pizzapup 3.0 is based on 2.12, before Barry added XDG. So it uses a different implementation of XDG (the one from Rarsa). That means some .desktop files from 2.14+ might not show up in it. Pizzapup 3.0.1 should be fine, as it's based on 2.14 and uses Barry's implementation.

Hi,

I finally installed pgs_215 renamed pgs_301 and webP2P_215 renamed webP2P_301.
Everything is OK, but I think I will remove them and install applications one by one...

Thanks for your help
