Subject description: DVD/CD work toolbox including mp32ogg and video from vob

A simple toolkit to assist with DVD or CD copying and creating both audio and data. Can extract audio from DVD for cd creation and video DVD into avi, mpg or m2v all at maximum quality.
Convert formats from ogg2mp3 etc. Burns ogg or mp3 or wav to audio cd.

This works with Puppy 2.14. Not tested with other versions.

This is a production system but is labelled beta because it hasn't had external testing. It does not give extensive options but the main useful ones.

Most of what is used is on a toolbar and all tools are available directly though CLI. It was designed to avoid menu hopping and trolling through directory lists. Links can be dropped onto a work area and the job done.

See the rmb.html for more details.

Any comments gratefully appreciated. This is my first script so the style may be a little verbose.

Would like to include Xvid to archive video - does anyone have this for puppy 2.14 ?

Thanks
Kevin

Oops!
In the uploaded version setup is accessed by rmb -s not rmb -setup. I economised on keystrokes while testing and forgot to change it back.

Attached is the new rmb executable and the full installation package corrected

Looks interesting KevOB, i'll check it out at some point when I'm doing video.

Note: You should probably only use the original file post above for the download.
This so folks won't download an old or defective app.
Updating it sometimes doesn't work, so now I delete the attachment & do again.
You can delete & reattach the first one, & then delete the second posts attachment completely.

Thanks Sunburnt. I would like to delete the original upload but haven't discovered how to yet.

For the video enthusiast I have some more: vob2Xvid/Dvix (MPG4) and Xvid2Vob. I need something like this for archival use. The reconversion is scarcely different from the original. Now, I am working on turning the vob back into a dvd without fuss.

My aim is to build one or two tool bars that a novice can use with minimal training in a production copying environment.
