firewall/gate way software

I was wondering if there was software that could run indendently, or run with puppy on another pc that could make the pc a gateway/firewal that my main computer could be protected buy. And if so will this software run on a p3 computer with 64megs of ram?

If you want to use that machine in a "normal" way but you want at the same time configure it to be a gateway to your network you can use puppy and create iptables rules for that purpose.
If you just want to make of that machine a dedicated router/firewall, in my opinion, i believe coyote linux is the best choice.
