Gxine picture messed up; crashes in full screen |
|
It doesn't look like this on my windows computer.....
For this example, all that is supposed to be there is the .hack//GU
But as you can see it get's all pixelated and messed up.
How can I fix this? (or improve video quality?)
[EDIT: I believe it's color bleeding, oh BTW: Whenever I go full screen, gxine crashes, is there a workaround?]

flamesage, I'm suprised you got that far.
gxine works great on some formats and not well on others.
there is an improved version of gxine available, but someone has to put together a pup kit or something.
Barry said version 1.0.5 is going to include the newer gxine.
I had gxine working like a charm on my last install. Basically, I installed mplayer and all the codecs. Also real player and its codecs. I made symlinks and all so that gxine could use the codecs.

That full-screen problem is a bug in that version of Gxine.
I announced on the News page, update on the Xine libraries, and so far I have got Kaffeine (KDE player) working with the updated libs, updated Gxine is on the to-do list.
