how to burn an audio cd using your mp3 files with rudypuppy

#1 Post by debernardis »

Believe me or not in the last few months I never burned any audio cd using some mp3 files with rudypuppy. I was happy with data cd and did not test. It was a mistake, and now that I needed it I wasn't able to accomplish such a trivial (?) task.

I searched,
and searched,
and searched,

I also used improbable k3b-mp3 rpm's for fedora, with no results... and was almost resolved to turn to kubuntu for once (after having been convinced that puppy could do everything!)...

but MU saved my day! (and it's not the first time at all).
Thanks MU! :D

In the thread http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=11124 by Billcnz (the one I stole the /opt/kde environment I have been using in the latest rudypuppy) MU stated that a new taglib was needed, and offered the right dotpup, which presently is in:

http://puppyfiles.org/dotpupsde/dotpups ... ib-1.4.pup

So if you have troubles with converting your mp3 in audio cd's, that's the state-of-the-art!
