puppy linux en italien

#1 Post by oui »

bonjour

Italian-
GioveLUG Educational 1.00
- Installati TuxMath, TuxType2, GCompris, SuperTux
- Aggiunti sfondi per il desktop GioveLUG

puis la version 1.10

GioveLUG Educational 1.10
- Installato TuxPaint (TuxStamp, TuxConfig)

1)

Tradurre il menu in italiano è piuttosto semplice. Di seguito le istruzioni:

- Copiare il file it.lng in /usr/local/Puppymenu-translator/resource
- Lanciare da: Menu - Dotpups - Translator Menu

ed il gioco è fatto.

2)

Hi everybody,

here is a custom distro based on PuppyLinux 2.11 I called GioveLUG Educational 1.0. This is my first distro and with my LUG we delivered it to a kids' fun house to let the kids learning computer loving free software.

Basically, this distro is a Puppy 2.11 with other kid's software installed such as:

- TuxType2
- TuxMath
- GCompris
- SuperTux
- TuxPaint

I also installed a couple of dotpup packages such as the following:

- Vnc with GUI (by Rarsa)
- MU Translate Menu (by Mark Ulrich)

GioveLUG educational has also following libraries installed on:

http://dotpups.de/dotpups/Games/LibSDL1.2-forDoom.pup
http://dotpups.de/dotpups/Programming/p ... sarge1.pup
http://dotpups.de/dotpups/Games/gcompri ... rnational/ (for localization sounds of GCompris. I chose Italian to support my country)

- libartsc.so.0 which I cannot remember the exact location on the web.

Into the directory usr/share/backgrounds you can find some wallpaper for your desktop.

It is very simple to translate menu in italian if you like it, just use MU translation program with the file it.lng you can find onto Localization forum.

Hope your kids can have fun .

Slapshot

p.s. Let me know if there are other software for kids you would like to have in next distro at www.giovelug.org

NOTE: GioveLUG Educational is Puppy 2.11 based. So please read following:

1. At first run it will be possible that Xvesa Wizard hangs and exit to the shell. It is not a problem, just type startx or xwin jwm and XVesa wizard will start with no problem
2. If you make a full hd installation keep in mind that Puppy 2.11 has a bug that you can solve making a search on puppy forum, or as follow:

- Boot again from cd
- Mount hda1 or whatever partition where you installed GioveLUG Edu with MUT
- search for /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit and right click and Open as Text
- Go to line 54 and comment out it (first char must be a #)
- Save the file, exit cd and reboot from hd

salut!

ouvrir une section du forum en italien

bonjour

salut
