I have the same problem with both OpenOffice and LibreOffice.
The text is chopped off. (But it does print ok.)
Changing font does not help.
Strange thing is, other rtf files show no "chopping off." ??

The rtf format has the font description stored inside it,
so the files that open correctly have good font information inside
and the file that doesn't open correctly has bad info inside.
If you save the file with a different font it will probably correct the
mistake.
'Select all' and choose a different font, then 'Save as'

I may have to save in a different format, since RTF is a Microsoft invention.
The Rich Text Format (often abbreviated RTF) is a proprietary[6][7][8] document file format with published specification developed by Microsoft Corporation from 1987 until 2008 for cross-platform document interchange with Microsoft products.
