Lost Free-memory monitor

#1 Post by davec51 »

I'm using the 2.15 "Viz.' Suddenly I don't have that useful and comforting notification at the lower right of the taskbar that tells me I have 1.2G of memory left. Is this the "Blinky" that I deleted, or something else? Most important, how can I get it back?

Blinky is for the internet connection .
/usr/sbin/freememapplet monitors the memory/free space to which you refer.

I found the old address (which doesn't work anymore) for MU's freememapplet

http://dotpups.de/dotpups/Desktop-Tools ... con-MU.pup

at http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=4208

Try searching http://puppyfiles.org/dotpupsde/dotpups for freememapplet
