How do I use LILO in Puppy?

How do I use LILO in Puppy?

I type lilo command in terminal of puppy 2.14.The result is command not found.How do i work it out in puppy linux.should i install any lilo package to puppy linux? Anybody know the answer plz help me.

With the many and varied ways of installing / booting puppy you might be better off describing the type of installation you are hoping to achieve and then hopefully someone will be able to point you in the right direction.

Puppy doesn't include Lilo. If you have another version of linux installed that does have Lilo, you can chroot into it from Puppy and run that version's lilo. I used to do that on my other computer. You could probably install Lilo on Puppy, but I've never done that.

Puppy does come with Grub though. Now that's I've used Grub I prefer it, because you don't have to run a command every time you make a change.
