Graphical representation of Jwm 'tray button is pressed'?

I like to start many programs and tasks by clicking JWM tray buttons. What I really miss is graphical representation that a button is pressed. I modified a screenshot of the tray to show how it would look like. See the second button from left. It seems that Jwm forum is down. I posted this suggestion to JWM Mailing List too. Is anyone here who would be able to add this feature to Jwm?
