Just upgraded a CF based installation (pupmode 13) of 2.12 to 2.14.

Now it won't run up Xwindows. If I look at /tmp/xerrs.log it says:
Before saying xwindows server is closing down. So I assume the font issue is the problem.

I've had a look around first and couldn't find an immediate answer, so my questions are:

Long term:
1. why did this happen when upgrading - was this font perhaps not part of 2.12 install? How to fix?

Short term:
1. can I find a list of fonts already on the system?
2. what file do I edit to alter the default font and what is the syntax? (I looked in .jwmrc but that doesn't seem to directly specify the default font)
3. or can I get the courier font from somewhere and if so how do I download and install.

you could try typing:

rm .fonts.cache*
startx
