Wireless Broadcom eth0 Not Reponding

A neighbor trying Puppy 2.14 on his HP laptop cannot get Puppy to see
his wireless Broadcom nic.

eth0 is showing as the wireless and eth1 as wired.

The wireless nic does work with WinXP Home.
