Is there an easy way to install device drivers?
Hi all,
I am in need to know the possible ways to install a driver. What i have seen is we have to the compile the drivers to use it which needs some knowledge on commands and scripts. But what i need is first day user also could be able to use these drivers. That just like a copy-paste method.

Try new version
The latest release of Puppy is 2.13, and 2.14 beta is now being tried. These contain a driver sfs, which should include many drivers.
If a driver is missing, please post with the device name and model number so other people can help you with it. _________________ Puppy user since Oct 2004. Want FreeOffice? Get the sfs (English only).
I don't need the whole driver package which has the driver for all manufacturer that will take more memory. if i am having a device with a manufacturer then i need a driver for the particular manufacturer

only chosen drivers are loaded
Only the drivers chosen automatically at start-up are loaded to memory, and the driver sfs is kept in the hard disk (if you have one) or on the CD. _________________ Puppy user since Oct 2004. Want FreeOffice? Get the sfs (English only).
