How to add new wallpapers in Puppy?

Hi, can someone tell me or direct me to step by step instructions on adding new wallpapers to puppy? I've been trying and it's driving me crazy, I'm sure it's pretty simple, I just can't figure it out the way I'm trying to do it.

Have you tried Control Panel>Puppy Background Desktop Images?

as mentioned above, control panel-->Desktop Background image will offer you the option of setting puppy's background. you will be given a limited number of options, depending upon what's in /usr/share/backgrounds directory. to customise, copy whatever jpeg you want into that directory, then use control panel to try it out.
