Audacity won't start.

I don't know how but Audacity sound editor won't work. Since I haven't used it in awhile I don't know at what point it became corrupted.

# audacity
audacity: error while loading shared libraries: libid3tag.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the dotpup but no success. When I go to /usr/lib both libid3tag.so and libid3tag.so.0 show
a big red 'ERROR'. When I left-click on them they say "file doesn't exist or can't access it".
