Extract audio from VCD?

#1 Post by sling-shot »

I have the MADAGASCAR VCD with me and i like the song at the end.
How can i extract that song as an mp3 file to play on a portable mp3 player?
Thanks,
-SS.

if you use mplayer, choose the PCM-plugin in the audio-options.
This writes the sound to a .wav

Then open it in Audacity, cut parts not needed, and save as .mp3.

Audacity:
