Here's the siag spreadsheet program and pathetic writer word processor latest versions. If you just want siag spreadsheet install everything except PatheticWriter-3.6.1.pup. If you just want pathetic writer install everything except Siag-3.6.1.pup.

download and install the new Libmowitz and the problem should be fixed.

I think you may not have installed Siag-3.6.1-shared-files.pup. That has shared files that several of the siag office apps use.

i've just installed siag spreadsheet plus pathetic writer. but how do i start the programms? i'm not using the standard-version.

I've been using a couple of puplets that have siag office installed and I'm experiencing a problem that I hope someone here can help with.

When I mouse-over on the font, font size, or style? drop down menus, I get the little helper tag that says what it is, but the drop-down menus don't actually work.

That's how it usually is. Sometimes they work, but when the drop-downs DO work, the fonts don't set to what I choose.

Anyone else seeing these issues or know what to do about them?

The problem exists in both applications.

Last night I played with it some more and it appears that the drop down menus may just be 'clunky' in that they do eventually open.

But none of those options are kept or applied when I select them. I pick a font, click on it, and it reverts right back to Times or becomes some other random choice, usually Helvecia (I know I didn't get that right).

Siag Office at version 3.5.5 is in the Business section, it works with wary5+ and puppy 5.2+ if anyone is interested. Topic no is 32881.

We are not sure what is happening here with 3.6.1, maybe the op could pm me as the package is being considered for "puppying" in the PPM.

I seem to remember that the code for those menu items was just stubs -the menu items were not yet implemented.

The 3.6 version is very broken. Even though there are a few version numbers between 3.5 and the last, the substabtial changes were actually pretty minor -just enough to break things before abandoning the project. LOL
