hi,

i wanted to install xscreensaver but i'm such a newbie and couldnt get it to work. it has so much dependencies.

In another thread someone already tried it and failed.

i'm especially looking for a screensaver that can work as a slideshow, that means displaying all JPEGs in a specific folder. I think xscreensaver has such a "hack"/module.

Don't have xscreensaver here, but I added a slideshow-module to my simple own saver:

The module uses gtksee, that is part of Puppy, only some stripped down 50 MB-Isos might not have it.
