Perhaps this is a request for a pet for Nautilus, the filemanager in Ubuntu. But I am not sure yet, since Xfe fulfills almost all my needs. "Almost" because the biggest quality of nautilus is its transfer speed: it can copy a harddiskdisk full of Puppy Isos and Pets in minutes.
Nautilus is the main reason I still fire up Ubuntu now and then.
So I wonder... Do I need a Nautilus.pet?
Or not - then which hidden command controls the copy speed of a file manager / how to speed up Xfe?
Nautilus.pet?
Hello,
Nautilus is dependant on eel and gnome, both of which are not a part of the standard Puppy..
IDK if Nautilus is a part of the gnome sfs, but you would need gnome to even start....
The gnome sfs works well, and if you like gnome, I`d say, go for it...
You will need (at least) the gnome sfs and the devx sfs to compile Nautilus....
Good Luck...
