For those of you who want to type japanese in Puppy without compiling or installing.

Toshiyuki Masui, a japanese programmer who is the initial developer of japanese input method called POBox which is widely used application on celler phone in japan, hosts a website which has its web application version using JavaScript.

So, how to type japanese:

1. While you are online, go to address below with JavaScript enabled web browser
http://www.pitecan.com/POBox/

2. hit ` (grave, the instruction says "backauto" or something but I'm not sure)
which makes the text field yellow

3. type japanese with roman spelling and hit space (once or more)

4. copy and paste wherever you want.
