Unable to boot from usb

#1 Post by adakadavule »

hello people,
i have loaded puppy onto usb-puppy 2.02ce.using format, copy files and syslinux bootloader. It boots on my system without a problem. But when i tried it in my college computer.it hung with this message.I tried pfix=ram.no change.

/bin/sh; can't access tty; job control turned off

I was going to tell the staff not to throw the old pcs and use them with puppy.I was laughed at.So how do i get this corrected?
It still boots in my house.

live cd

Try the live CD, as old PCs may be tricky with USB boot.

The people at my college removed cd drives at a time as they thought viruses came through them. Now what do i do.In fact there isnt even a floppy drive for me to try the wakepup.
