For everyone's information, DPupBuster already exists, thanks to josejp2424's excellent
work, since last February:

If you want to skip the thread discussion, the download URLs are in this post.
There is no need to wait for DPupBuster, it already exists! Very Happy
Long live Puppy!

8.1 is in a quantum state. It exists and it does not exist.
It kinda materialised and then shifted Embarassed
(Only Puppy can do this) Shocked
Basically it is up to our talented tinkerers and developers.

- DPupBuster-7.9.0.2 by josejp2424
- DpupBuster-CE being developed along the lines of an updated Dpup Stretch 7.5 by radky
(who intends to continue support of the mature Dpup-Stertch CE)

as for 8.2 ... Cool
It is awesome!

Puppy Linux
Woof! Woof! Kennel Power. Cool

I would say version 7 would be:
- Slacko 14.2
- Dpup Stretch
- Ubuntu Xenial

And 8 would be:
- Slacko 15.0 (with Slacko-current being 7.9 or 7.x)
- Dpup Buster
- Ubuntu Bionic

But I don't know, that just sounds right to me from how it usually has been based on distro version timeline in the past. Smile
