Subject description: Copy Windows Fonts to Pupi Linux

Copy from an installed Windows o.s. the folder C:/Windows/fonts inside (Do not replace!!!) the /usr/share/fonts folder of a Pupi Linux o.s.
Done.
Optional: Rename the resulting /usr/share/fonts/fonts folder to msfonts, winfonts or something you like best.
Might work with other Linux distros

You can make a folder "~/.fonts" and place extra fonts there.

I have used the Windows font package for nearly two decades, both in Mac and Puppy. Just remember to run the commands that make the fonts available to all programs, there should be a README in /usr/share/fonts/default/. I just dump the fonts into existing directories.
In the fonts dir, run:
# mkfontscale
#mkfontdir
and the command fc-cache to build font information caches (look at fc-cache --help).
