I finally got Chrome running on Slacko64 6.3.2 and have been enjoying Netflix. Now when I open Netflix, I get a message telling me that I will need to update my browser by July? 2019 so I can continue watching Netflix.
I tried being clever and renaming the /opt/google/chrome directory then install the deb file downloaded from Google but that failed.
What do I need to do to be able to keep watching Netflix?

I use vivaldi so I'm not familiar with the actual chrome browser. I never really got it to work right on my rig.

have you tried Netflix incognito or private window? I forget what they call it

Which version of Chrome are you using ATM? I got that using the final 32-bit Linux version, Chrome 48.....though I confess I've been waiting for the hammer to drop with that one, 'cos it is seriously out of date!
64-bit Chrome (stable) is currently at v73.
You could try my 64-bit Iron 69 package. Iron is identical to Chrome in all important respects, and you can sync with an existing a/c just the same.

As I stated above, Chrome is currently at version 73.....so you're around 27 major versions behind, that's all...(and something like 120 minor versions)!
In most important respects ( as far as components go), the Linux version updates on a par with its Windoze 'cousin' these days. You need to manually check some of the items at 'chrome://components'/b]', but the updates are automatic once selected.
As with the Iron 64-bit packages thread, the download link is the large one in the first post of the thread. I'm a lazy bugger; I can't be bothered to put individual download links in every single post, so I just refer folks back to post #1. It's been working fairly well for the last 2 or 3 years.....
Have a look, see what you think. Can't hurt. That or the Iron 69 package should do what you want.....and ought to be fairly 'safe' for the next couple of years, at any rate.
