How to set up usb wireless card in Xenialpup 7.5?
None of my usb wireless cards are working
Ok, so now I have a new problem. When I search for my wireless network it shows up but I can't maintain a connection. I have all three wireless tools that are included with Xenialpup 7.5. So I configure the modem, it appears to connect, but then no actual data is transmitted to or from my computer, or, the connection breaks. Rebooting doesn't help. I still have a great connection under windows 7. Thanks, Scott
Post withdrawn. You can omit my PM as well Scott. Good luck!

Ok Bigpup. I followed all of the steps and made a connection. I opened my Palemoon browser and as soon as I attempted to connect with the discussion forum my connection timed out and my internet connection disconnected. I read that there may be issues with Frizbee and that it may run in the background and create this type of problem. Rebooting doesn't work. I hope I don't need to do a fresh install of Xenialpup.

Your turn!
In Network Wizard setup.
When you got to this window did you choose set as default?
Any time out settings, in the setup for the wifi router, that is providing the wifi signal?
In the console could try this:
Press enter.

The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.

The setup should be saved and used when you reboot.
Is Xenialpup a full or frugal install?
If frugal have you made a save?
The save holds all changes you make to Puppy.
If frugal are you using the normal boot option when booting?
If there is a boot menu option that says ram or ram only.
That one tells Puppy to boot and not use the save.
A frugally installed Puppy always loads and runs in ram.

You have to answer all questions!
We only know what you tell us!!
A answer to a specific question is a clue to what is going on.
