Puppy DVD boot fail: puppy_xenialpup64_7.5.sfs not found

I'm trying to boot xenialpup 64 bit, but it gives me this error:
*** sda1 /puppy_xenialpup64_7.5.sfs not found.
*** Error is too critical, dropping out to console...

When i try to execute either of these commands "puppy acpi=noacpi" or "puppy pci=nopci" in console after the error, it says that it can't find any puppy command.

The computer runs windows xp 32 bit, see the image file for processor and ram info

Usually the cause of this error when booting from a Puppy live CD/DVD could be:
Bad download of the Puppy iso file.
Bad burn of the iso image to the CD (Burned at too high a speed)
8X is a good speed to use.
The burning program did not burn properly the files to the CD.
If burned using a Windows program. Make sure the file names are in lower case lettering.

Dirt or contamination on the read lens of the CD/DVD drive.
Bad CD/DVD disk. Has scratches or dirty.

The commands you are talking about that may help.
Boot with Puppy live CD/DVD
At boot screen press F2 key
(be quick only have a few seconds to do this)
A screen will pop up where you can enter these commands.

Try using one of these boot options

1. puppy acpi=off

2. puppy acpi=on

3. puppy ide=nodma

4. puppy ide=nodma acpi=off

Thanks for the info, i will burn another cd just in case and if that doesn't work i will
try the commands tomorrow (pc is in the work office). Do you think that puppy being 64 bit may have something to do with the error? Maybe the processor can handle only 32 bit os?

No.
If the computer cannot run a 64 bit Puppy.
The boot process will give you a warning message saying this is a 64 bit OS and the computer cannot use it.

I've also had this when you haven't turned off secure boot and also allow legacy boot in the computer system config (yes you can usually allow both nowadays) before trying to run puppy.
