Vivaldi seems good - but video support bamboozles me!-SOLVED

#1 Post by mow9902 »

I've been (almost) successfully using vivaldi from version 1.14 right up to current version 2.1. It actually works pretty well except for one thing. I just cannot get it to play the video clips on several news sites eg

https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006mgyl/clips
https://edition.cnn.com/specials/latest-news-videos

I'm using the 32bit version on tahr 6.0.2

Any help would be appreciated. thanks

I just tested the first link you listed using vivaldi 2.1 64 bit. The video played alright. I think you need to follow this article: https://help.vivaldi.com/article/html5- ... -on-linux/

6.0.2, huh? My money's on the lack of running 6.0.5.

The key however is the ability to accept help and take action.
