Contrary to what is said in article, e2guardian is in Bionic repositories, so you do not have to compile it yourself. For previous Ubuntu version, do apt-cache search e2guardian in terminal (Dog users). Look for it in PPM if you are a Puppy user.

You have to install squid, then install e2guardian, they work together.

Squid works out-of-the-box, and e2guardian is made to work seamlessly with squid.

Configuration is easy. Follow the tutorial, and you should have content filtering in no time.

No need to have content filtering if you do not have young children or visitors using your home wifi.
