I have a 32gb usb thumb stick that Quirky's main partition only covers 6.49gib. I have about 22.25gib extra that I would like to cover to have more space. I have heard that editing partitions can lose files and become corrupted.
Is there a way to expand it without the risk of losing files and corruption.
Edit: added editing.
Quirky Xerus64 8.5 - Can I expand the main partition.

If your partitioning software shows some free unformatted space you can expand into that as long as it is contiguous .
(but save your files first).
However alternate solution ---> put your pupsave file on another partition.
Puppy will check inside folders for a save file.

I believe it's even possible to put your base SFS file on another partition

http://puppylinux.org/wikka/BootParametersPuppyControls which file is loaded as BaseSfs. Specify full path and filename.
Example- pupsfs=sdb1:/pwary/wary_511.sfs
