Canon CanoScan LIDE 220

What works, and doesn't, for you. Be specific, and please include Puppy version.

Canon CanoScan LIDE 220

I have a Canon CanoScan LIDE 220 scanner which is not supported by the version of SANE included with Thar pup 6.0.2.

According to the sane.org web site support for this scanner was recently added to the development branch and I have downloaded a daily snapshot of the source code and extracted it but do not know how to proceed further. I guess I will need to install devx for this puppy but beyond that do not even know where to begin.

Can anyone give me some pointers?

Your source for information about print/scan in Puppy is here. It will take you to a page for Canon LiDE models along with a driver.

I have updated the driver to support your 220. Please report back with the results.
