Hello,
I am now trying Tahrpup64 6.0.5 live from USB on a lenovo laptop everything is working fine except that I can't adjust the sound level using the multimedia keys the same goes for screen brightness

By default it is probably using a 102 generic keyboard
setup.

Those extra keys on laptops are specific keyboard models.

Could try a different keyboard model.

menu>Setup>Mouse/keyboard Wizard>(Keyboard)Advanced Configuration>Keyboard Model

There are some keyboard models for specific laptops.
Even if it is not your specific laptop, they may work for it.
