There is /etc/DISTRO_SPECS
The save file works ok for me on fat32 called upupbbsave using unencrypted.
I did notice that to make an unencrypted savefile you have to select yes when it says do you want encryption.
Presumably no for encryption.

Saves

Thinking back on my saves it took 2 tries. The wording on yes-no made no truly (to me) sense. If I recall correctly went with default yes thinking no encrypt per usual default- just save. Didn't work. Second was "no". Worked and working. Maybe crypto is a dead end at this time? Right now? I am pretty darn happy! :)

Hi! Thanks for producing this one. It's working OK for me except that text pages don't always display well in Opera; there are some vertical lines interrupting the flow of the text.

No I am NOT setting up an encrypted save file....BUT the system asks me for a password anyway.
I'll wait for a fix..
Problems only get fixed if you provide sufficient information.
Ah....and if no one tells me what information I should provide, and my crystal ball is cloudy, I can only wait for the lens to clear or some other event beyond my control.

Hi. I apologize to everybody that I did not respond fast enough, but I recently passed through a soft-tissue(inguinal hernia, or what the hell...) surgery operation - so I did not feel the urge to visit web forums for a while... besides, I had many other activities, too.
1. @hamoudoudou: the DISTRO_SPECS file, of course, there's the place, in the /etc folder.
2. everyone thanks for the interest;
3. for me, with the savefile-made is never, any problem was not;
4. adrv, fdrv, ydrv, zdrv sfs - well, in my iso do not look for these files, because I have integrated their content into the operating system.
5. Since then I have made a revised and reduced version of this project, its size is 614 mb, but it is in Hungarian, so switching to English is a bit of annoyance... this stuff can be downloaded from the mega link, or from here:

hi, hamududu :) ! A what kind of word is that marmómet?
There is not a word like this neither in Hungarian, neither in French, neither in English...
Possibly "drawing"? - or "demo"?

So, this just works out of the box?

#30 Post by tlchost »

Been using this variant for a while now....works fine on older 32 bit and newer 64 bit desktops/laptops.

But I see all sorts of posts about upgrades/additions, etc to the "main" upupbb version.

So what gives? Are we expected to settle for a distro that works out of the box that we don't have to fiddle with? (g).
