@gilloraymondo - as peebee said driver you specified is there, so need to check your equipment & look for errors.
Please run following commands & post results:
lscpi -nn | grep -i network
dmesg | grep -i firmware
dmesg | grep -i error

I have it bookmarked, very useful.

I've uploaded 'huge-4.9.227-gyro-pae.tar.bz2' to http://www.mediafire.com/folder/21fyvbi4xglau/kernels, for BionicPup32.
This kernel package does not contain any firmware, it requires the presence of an fdrv...sfs.
This kernel provides much improved support for mmc storage devices, based on BK's 'DOTconfig-5.4.12'.

Get Libreoffice is no longer working for 32bit Puppy versions.
The Libreoffice web site no longer offers a 32bit version.
So, you probably did not do anything by running Get Libreoffice.
I just tried it in Bionicpup32 8.0
Get Libreoffice just gave errors and did nothing.
Quote: | The Document Foundation doesn't provide 32bit binaries for Linux for 6.3.0 anymore.
Please pick a 64bit variant from the dropdown if your system supports it or get LibreOffice from your Linux distribution's repositories instead. |

Here is a Libreoffice topic that offers other versions.
The 32bit are going to be anything older than Libreoffice 6.3
http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=116963
I tried version 6.2.8 one in Bionicpup32
It works for me.
This is the sfs package of it:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1J1nxE5HeeRl2dIJ5pZV-ohcUCt-UMP2W/view?usp=sharing
Load it by using SFS-load-on-the-fly program.
It will put entries in Applications->Documents to run it.
There is also a pet package if you want to install instead of using sfs packages.

Thanks @bigpup....

so what was GetLibreOffice doing for that "fairly long period" I wonder.
Needs reporting on the GetLibreOffice thread?
GetLibreOffice will have to be removed from 32-bit pups I guess....perhaps replace it with a forum link....

Well, Libreoffice web site does not specifically say when it stopped offering 32bit v6.3.0 onward.
I checked their download archive and under 6.3.0 it has a 32bit version directory, but it is now empty.
Any version newer has no 32bit version.
There is a 32bit directory, but it to has nothing in it.
Seems if there was a 32bit version, newer than v6.2.8.2, they all got deleted from the Libreoffice web site repository.
Newest version with 32bit download is v6.2.8.2

FWIW, although Apache OpenOffice appears to be stuck at version 4.1.7 first announced September 21, 2019, https://blogs.apache.org/OOo/entry/announcing-apache-openoffice-4-13, 32-bit builds remains available for download. https://www.openoffice.org/download/other.html from a consistent location.

BionicPup32 install and browser |
|
I installed the base Bionicpup32 with a good md5 sum with hopes of updating the delta's. I burned the iso to a cd and the installation went perfect to a Dell Dimension 3000 with a celeron 2.4 ghz cpu with 1 gb of ram. The install was frugall to a save folder on a ext 3 partition. I downloaded the latest delta 21 and updated with the System Update program and was told it was successful.
I have one question about installing a new browser which is where to install it when given a choice of a subdirectory/upupbb19.03 frugall or partition sda5. I appreciate any help and would like to thank peebee and everyone who helped to make this great program. Stay safe.
Thanks
Bird Dog
