If an LCD monitor loses power when only 3-4 yrs old, how likely that it's due to a damaged capacitor?

Don't know about LCD, too many components that can fail.
I have a CRT 21inch TV from 1991 and a CRT 17inch monitor from 2001 still working without a hitch.
And I have already replaced a 3 year old Sony LED tv because it's LEDs started failing.
I think CRTs needed bigger capacitors than latest LEDs.

What do you mean by looses power?
It does not come on?
Nothing shows on the screen, but it does turn on?
You do what?
You see what?
Sure the power cord is good?
If you can get the back off maybe something damaged will be easy to see.

Check the power brick (which may be internal to the monitor.
Most work on 12v so there is a power brick like a laptop one and they usually have an internal fuse that sometimes blows.
