How to reduce Sony screen contrast in Bio Puppy?

Thought I would give Puppy Bio a try out.
Well.... Ok but.
How can I reduce brightness contrast screen ?
Too glary for me.
Sony laptop VGN series with Puppy Bio on USB.
Can anyone help please.
