There is lucid versions of google earth 5.1 available

Apparently there are two versions of google earth, directX and OpenGL
(which is faster).

I would try Pyro 6 64 bits rather than Pyro6 32bits , since I was
able to get OpenGl 2.1 to work with it ( I checked using blender 2.79
which requires OpenGl 2.1 )

I have an older intel graphics chip 'Intel 945G'
Other graphics chips would likely need a special driver to be installed.
Fatdog64 710 and slacko linux have a good selection of graphics drivers in their repository.

See here for download page....

It appears that in response to answers here the OP open another thread... in that thread, the OP has a 32-bit 1.4MHz Pentium4 (2003-4) computer with 512Mb RAM (probably DDR200 or 266) and an intel 855GM PCI video card (that sounds like ICH4).

Google Earth will not run on that, in fact XP is probably the OP's only choice outside of Puppy 2 series (maybe an early 3 series Dingo maybe?).

Is the graphics hardware the issue? Because with a 1.4GHz cpu and 512 MB RAM, I would have thought that anything from Puppy 4 to Precise should run on that machine. My Compaq laptop is the same age and similar specs and ran all of those just fine in 512MB RAM. It currently runs TahrPup 606 although I do now have 1 GB RAM installed.
