Hello everybody:

I modified my puppy configuration (installed lxpup theme) and my desktop drive icons have dissapeared.

I tried to configure them again:

MENU, DESKTOP, DESKTOP DRIVE ICONS MANAGER, and there the label DESKTOP ICONS... SHOW ICONS and I marked the options to show them at my screen (the four options that appear, -show desktop icons for each drive, show desktop icon for each partition, show labels for each partition, and refresh/realingn existing icons- but although I restart, turn it off, it's impossible show them because I change some option with my modifications... I suposse

So my last resource, is modify the code of this file that make them appear on screen. WHERE IS THIS FILE, WHAT MUST I MODIFY...

Please, I dont have any idea to solve this problem, so SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME.

THANKS A LOT, my friends

Does this theme have icons for drives?
The theme has to have the icons, in it, for the program to use, to make the drive icons show on desktop.

Have you tried to change to a different theme?

Have a look at /usr/local/bin/drive_all. There's a brief explanation of the desktop drive icon process in the opening notes.

CU
Menu>Desktop>JWMDesk Manager>Icon theme

Change to a different icon theme and see if it now works.

Use Puppy Event Manager>Desktop Icons
Make sure to select Refresh/realign existing icons.
Select OK.

I'll try
